Movie Friend
Why watch alone?
Movie Friend helps you find someone in your city who wants to see the same film, at the same show — then meet at the theatre.
How it works
- Sign in with your phone number. It is never shown to anyone.
- Browse the films currently showing in your city.
- Mark the shows you would go to.
- Get matched with people going to the same one, and agree on seats.
Trust
People can verify a work or college email address to earn a Verified professional or Verified student badge. The address itself is never stored in readable form, and verification is a signal — not a requirement to join. Reporting and blocking are available to everyone and are never placed behind a paywall.
Status: in development. Movie Friend is not yet published and is not accepting sign-ups. This page exists so the project has a home while it is being built.
